eber fuel pump

hi can anyone help?
i am looking for fuel pump for b2l eber .pump no 20 1607 45.
i have tried everywhere.?found some similar ones on german ebay but each seller has replied the pump wont work on mine and the only one that will work is the number on the pump .tried eberspacher and they dont do anymore.any how i found one second hand pt no 20 1645 45 on ebay will this work.?the guy who is selling it says it will.can anyone tell if it will do?

dont quote me but i thought the pumps on the ebbers and the webbastos were pretty much the same. they are just a 12 volt pulse pump run from the ecu.

not 100% sure, have you tried cj at syncro spares he has spare parts for aux heaters.

according to etos its 253 070 578 and its £95 plus vat new from VW and still showing a price so can be ordered
