heavy duty ball joints..

Post by Simon Baxter »

Been speaking to a trade contact who deal with a company in Germany.
They have listed in their catalogue heavy duty balls joints for the T3 and the T4.
An, as per VW they come with a 2 year warranty.
Has anyone else come across these?
Anyone used any?
I'm going to order some in and see, I need them for my Atlantic (2WD) anyway, just hope they aren't prohibitivley expensive.

Anyway, they are meant to have wear resistant plastic cups, larger diameter balls (!) and improved lubrication.

Interested?

Febi Bilstein? I thought you would have been a OE man Andy, I would have thought you would have got some lemforder ones hammered in!

Well, I'll get some ordered in, just awaiting prices back but theres a few other interesting parts by the same people, got some German GTD nozzles coming in.

Maybe a little while as we have to make it worth out while ordering in, me and another guy have to get a pallet load of an order for it to make sense doing it!!

Okay, I think you may like the prices!

Upper - £16.50 inc. VAT.
Lower - £15 inc. VAT.

Heavy duty, 2 year guarantee!

Non in but they are available, I'm gunna order a few sets in I think, heavy duty or not they are good prices! plus 2 year warranty! Can't go wrong really I don't think.

GTD nozzles for the Diesel boys, £50 inc VAT

Upper wishbone bushes - £10 inc. VAT and they are genuine looking, white nylon insert and white greased, miles better than the GSF ones which are £11 plus VAT (£12.93)

Syncro font wheel bearings, again German, not cheap chinese sh!t. £27.30 inc. VAT, just a bearing tho, no seals but I have seals a bit cheaper than VW.

Ball joints have landed for those that expressed an interest, I have already re-ordered the next batch too.
Extrenally they look as good as OEM (Lemforder) if not better.

I think the company struggled to meet my demands for the quantity of wishbone bushes I ordered, they ain't come I'm affraid, due in the next couple of weeks.

If everyone who says they wanted some actually take them (that would be a big surprise) the I have already sold out.

He forgot to pach the syncro front wheel bearings, so I don't have those yet.
Soon.
