Been looking at the eber heater today as it will only run for 3mins(no heat) & then stop. checked the voltage at the heater which seemed ok, fuse ok, & the glow plug didn't look too bad ether. Then I looked under the van to see petrol dripping from the pre fuel filter, would this stop the heater igniting?

it could pull air into the line , could be a fire hazzard aswell
fix that first and then try running it , what condition was the glow plug guaze in ? if thats block or knackered it wont run right

Yeah i was a bit concerned, I could smell petrol & thought good that means the pumps ok, then looked under to see the filter dripping. (not so good)
I didn't look at the gauze thingee, where's that to???

Oh is that the metal tube with holes that's around the glow plug element?

I didn't stick my finger in there, but it looked fairly newish, and the element looked intact.
