if the pump clicks when you supply 12v to it.then it should be working.no click means its not...

Try German Ebay -www.ebay.de. I got one off there for about £21 last year. The pump works fine but I think my Eber needs a good service! Typical. It took a few goes to find eberspacher and where they sell them, but when I found one I just sent an e-mail asking if they would accept Paypal and post to the UK. I even got the mounting bracket and plastic pipe.

Happy searching.

New pumps, and most other EBER bits available off Ebay, look for a guy called Sarkblue, he sell new bits at reasonable cost. new pump is £50.

Check that you have fuel in the pipe from your tank to the pump, these pumps won`t draw fuel up more than a small incline, but if it`s not clicking (pulsing), then it may be knacked. I`m not sure you can just stick 12v on it to try it, they are fed from the electronic control unit (silver box under the seat next to the BBB) so if that is nacked, that may be the issue.
Keep it real.

You could try connecting it directly to a battery and then releasing it, to see if it clicks and spits out a bit of fuel. I did that with mine and it spat a bit of German petrol out!
