Hi all,
I'm the proud owner of a 1980 2.0L Aircooled T25 Devon, but I'm having problems with the power output.
It doesn't have the original CU engine, but has that of an older car/ van (possibly the type 4). I know the tappets need adjusting, but can anyone reccomend a course of action to increase the amount of power? The pennines are killing her
Here's a pic of what is in the engine bay.

Any advice welcome!
Cheers,
Rob

I've not taken the tinwork off yet, but I've found 2 stamps. One with CI and the other ZN. Need to have a look when it's light.

My apologies, I think the engine is a CJ code, does this help?

The CJ engine is a 2.0ltr air cooled engine but from a Bay, it is the forerunner of the CU motor, nothing wrong with it just not correct for your vehicle.
