uneven tickover

Post by Ray »

2.1 engine has had an itermittant rise in revs on tickover since installed new 15 months ago. Originally on petrol but lately on lpg as well. The garage man said it could be one or more of several things when it was in today but I think that now its the same on lpg it seems more likely to be an inlet manifold leak somewhere Its just an annoying little thing on an otherwise well running engine. Any likely causes especially as it didn't do this on the old crap engine from El&^*
