New sleepy spot just off the A68

Post by Smiler »

Had an eye on this spot for a couple of weeks now as it`s quite local to me and relatively new.

It`s 2miles east of Tow Law, which the A68 passes directly through, ideal to rest/sleep if you are heading north or south.

Take the B6301, signposted for Lanchester, for 2 miles heading east. You will come to a road on your left sign posted for Cornsay Colliery. The car park is on the left hand/west side corner of that junction.

It looks quiet on a night, level ground, sheltered but no facilities what so ever.

Tony,
got a few spots in mind in this area, maybe we could check `em out on the 10th?
