Just for arguments sake you had a syncro & wanted the in/out take as high as possible to avoid any problems with wading, would tis be a problem? Could it go up the engine air in-takes?
Long, long way off but just think/planning for the future!
(anyone want to buy this bloody BMW? I needs the money to do things more interesting!

I imagine the propex comes with the dual flue set up?
not fitted a marine propex but I would think the principals are the same
if you can ..separate the intake and outlet
that would help
shame on you older members... so off topic *tsk*

propex heaters are intended for marine applications anyway.

Mr Propex told me these were fitted to BT vans some time ago - they're not just "marine"
Anyway I've fitted one of these. You don't have to fit the outer bigger bore hose, just the exhaust one (about 1 inch diameter) so that the fumes go outside. Mines fitted in a cupboard that has a gas drop hole in it so the air for combustion gets to the box that way.
I actually put a length of larger bore over it for part of the way as an insulator so the hot exhaust pipe doesn't spoil any stuff in the cupboard.
