Vw,Audi Have been using liquide(oil)filled engine mounts for decades now.

subaru ej engine mounts are all oil filled as well

the "wet" engine mounts on my 5 cyl diesel get "electrocuted" by the ECU to stiffen up under acceleration...and thats early 1990's vorsprung durch technik...so NER!!!
