What are the must dos to a camper van little trivks to refine them?

1)quick shift any good?
2)some way of improving headlights?
3)moving battery
bigger alternator???????

Headlights got me down too. Solved that with a chinese/korean headlight booster kit whch includes two relays and a ballast unit (about £35 on Ebay). Added Osram Silverstar bulbs (not much improvement on their own) but now my headlights are like a damned lighthouse at night - huge improvement
