I know the title sounds stupid but here is my question.
I am going to purchase a stock 2 litre petrol water cooled tomorrow night which had a autobox.
Can you tell me
a: Will a manual flywheel and clutch fit without any problems
b: Will I have to change carbs.
This motor is going in as France has come to quick for me to sort out the cosworth especially as it needs a gearbox rebuild.
Also may need some of these bits
Cheers in advance

It will either be a 1.9 (1915cc) or 2.1 (2109cc) engine, not a 2L....
1.9 are (generally) single twin choke carb (DG)... 2.1 are Fi.... 2 main flavours MV (95hp) DJ (112hp)
Check what engine code it is..
Flywheel should go straight on, but you need to check the endfloat.. fit the flywheel and check it just moves back and forth a fraction, should be felt as a "click" but not a large movement.
Doubt it will be too much of a problem for the throttle link... but dont know...

Cheers for the bit of advice, I am picking the engine up tomorrow night along with a few other things.
Just got to find a flywheel for it now and then get a clutch fitted.
Cheers

Bugger, not a straight forward as one hoped, is this procedure documented anywhere so I can print it off and use it to purchase parts needed and undertake work?
