Carried away with the paint stripper!

Post by syncropete »

Finally getting round to a respray on our 16 camper. It is going back to its original bamboo yellow (has been white and orange). Decided to strip back to bare metal, as there has been keying issues with the previous paint jobs and it will also enable a good inspection of the dreaded seams.
Nitromors is fantastic stuff :D
Here are some pictures of the mission-

Today plus an evening last week. I ran a grinder with a flap disc over the paint first to score it and help the stripper.

Bloomin 'eck Pete, that's a lot of graft.

Hope you've got enough energy left to finish that bit of welding on my single-cab sometime !
