one side has some play on it [cant rember which side!] can this be adjusted with the diff in the van,i have to replace the v c so whilst its out? or is it best left alone.The diff did whine a bit when i had worn tires on the back [ its not noisy since new tires]. the vc has failed open/no drive.

Thanks Harry, Aidan contacted me with some advice,it seems that the drive shaft flange could be loose/worn [splines],the cv joints [inner ] are very worn and i'm going to replace them when the parts arrive from Brickwerks.
