The Driver and Passenger seats on my 88 Transporter are in need of replacing. Any advice on seats for a direct replacement, something confy of course with the same rail fittings cos I am errr challenged with a spanner

The only vehicle that swaps directly without modification is.....another T25!
but ...VW made the transporter caravelle with a plush interior and those seats fit too.
I would ask an upholsterer what cuts it before binning them
I have seen miraculous work.
as long as the frames and springs are all there...the rest is foam and fabric
