Is the sump plug on a CU 2ltr Aircooled M14 x 1.5?

Interesting that my sump plug is a welded up spark plug; I presume the sump has not been tapped. Hav'nt put a HT lead across it yet....would that be a good idea?
Are we going on anything else?
