Ok, I bought my T25 Syncro from vzi/here on 21st November this year. When I picked it up the oil warning buzzer was going off. The owner disconnected the switch & said all was well. I bought new pressure switches, but the buzzer returned. I have ordered a oil pressure tester but now it's a bit late! I have done about 150 miles in it since I have owned it & now the engine is knocking. It will need a rebuild or another JX 1600cc turbo diesel lump fitted. It did it today but I managed to drive the 5 miles home at a slow pace. It still runs & drives, just noisy!

That was the bad, so the good is: It is a 1989 Syncro. The 4 wheel drive is great off road. The front diff & VC are working fine. I have been going through the van fixing faults. I have fitted a new clutch master cylinder, speedo cable, fuel tank sender. I have added a set of bull bars, roof rack, Porsche steering wheel. I have fixed some diesel leaks from the return pipes. It now has 12 months MOT but will need registering with DVLA. I have all of the German paper work.
I have welded a plate in the wheel arch to repair a small hole. This will need prep & paint, but is now clean & solid.

There is no rot in this van & the body is fairly straight. Anyone that knows me will tell you I don't buy rubbish. unfortunately I have seemed to have been caught out. At least you won't!

If I can find an engine in the next 2 weeks then the van will not be for sale. It is only for sale so I don't have to fit one!

I have too many projects on the go to really get too deep into this.
I am looking for £2500 no offers as it stands. If it doesn't sell within the next 2 weeks, I will replace the engine & keep it till spring. It will be sold then but at a much higher price.

OK, I have bought an engine & it will be on its way to me soon.

I would still sell this with the new engine now if someone wanted it. I guess there is about a week left before it arrives & I start fitting it.

Once the engine is in I will get it registered & fit the alloys & other bits I have to it.
