Should have paid more attention..

I have removed all the wiring looms from my DOKA (1988 JX) and presently in the middle of re-wiring (don't asked).
Can't for the life of me work out what the resistors located behind the headlight grille (driver's side) - yellow/black and white cables attached - are used for.
Something to do with the blower fan?

Probably for the dim-dip running lights (6V sidelights) if its behind the grille, like the VW golf ones. I expect the heater rheostat is in the heaterbox itself.

Its defo for dim dip lighting, not essential to have.

When you have your sidelights on while the ignition is on it turns the dip lights on at 6v as well. Without the resistors the sidelights will be just the little bulbs in the side of the reflectors (the parking light bulbs).
