Yeah saw that one.

Seems a strange story really. Storing a minter is one thing but storing one thats had a hard/rough life seems strange.

Anyone asked him about it?

It wouldnt take a whole lot to put that van right though. It doesnt look like there's any rust, just a few dings and dents. You could get that for a steal I'd say and spend a grand straightening it out and then you'd have a great van.

whats this all about?

I do think that as its been stood, it needs new driveshafts on the front

Why would it being stood affect the front driveshafts in any way?

That looks like an easy fix to be honest.

Drive shafts might have split gators & knocking, or the VC might be kippered!

bit of a banger!

Post by airman »

happy new year.. i bought it and i reckon it has potential. it came with very little history. it's a two owner banger so i've just written to the last one to see if they can shed some light on it. all i can say is that it starts and drives and i've joined the right club. ill start working my way through the front wheel bearings/drive train straight after new year.
