HELP!!! ADG 1.9 diesel engine blown

Ok guys, maybe buying another camper that has a blown ADG 1.9 diesel engine and have a few questions....

1: Where does thiss engine come from, ie: what cars run it?
2: Are parts for the engine easy to get to rebuild?
3: Is there another equivilant to the engine that can be bolted straight on?
4: Does anybody know anything about these engines, if they blow, what usually goes?

Don't want to buy the van and be left with another bill for a complete new engine!!!

I've tried searching for parts etc on GSF and other places, but nothing seems to come up specificly for that engine code.

polo 1994-02, 64 hp , simalar to a 1y

Its an industrial engine never used in any cars.

Identical to 1Y apart from different injection pump.

Main problem is bottom pulley which is almost always terminal.
