buddy seat fitting question

Post by ermie571 »

HI,
I have got myself a buddy seat - chances are its an auto-sleeper one - wooden base, with a swivel seat on top.

Am told it bolts through the floor.....can I just drill through the wooden floor, the metal pan and bolt, or does it need a spreader plate underneath? Will be using a lap belt on the existing seat belt fittings.

Thanks in advance.
