Hi, need to know sharpish. is the gear lever on a 2.0 A/C the same as on a 1986 1.6 turbo diesel? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just made a few phone calls to answer my own question. In case it may help others, the answer is: maybe. It appears that there was a change in the linkages in 1986 so, if you have a 1986 vehicle it's a case of maybe, maybe not!!! At least that's the info I have been given.
