No, only got the 1 syncro (not that greedy [yet]), Distinctive feature seems to be the green syncro/4WD stickers. I don't have a drive at all, just a large oil stained area of street nearish my house (where ever there is space that perticular time I parked). The oil stains are mainly my fault as my old landy leaves them, though no one seems to have noticed yet, probubly a good thing really. In the past I managed to get it so muddy that when the mud eventully fell off onto the road I got my very own reserved space that no one wanted to park in!

Don't know of any other Syncro's in the area at the moment though there are afew other T3's. There was a pannel van (G## OAG) and a brown poptop camper (G620 LET) (met the owner once, he also had a Pinsgauer aparently) around afew years ago but both have since changed hands. Ocasionly I've seen a yellow syncro camper(?) which I think must be from sheffield somewhere though I don't see it very often. I don't drive around town very often so I'd be on a proper jeurney if I was spotted, I usally walk locally.

I'm only in Brinsworth/Rotherham. I've seen Onion in GSF's a couple of times.

Would the yellow one be outside a village garage by any chance? It's moved again so is harder to spot from the road but its still there. I spoke to the owner the other month to see what was happening with it, aparently its being done up and is definately not for sale. Don't know when it'll be done up though as there doesn't seem to have been much done to it in the last 5 years since I first spotted it.

We are definately talking about the same van there! There are syncro owners who have stopped and asked about it before, some are probubly reading this now. I had already been told he won't sell it before I asked but I thought I'd be cheeky and ask just so I'd know what its future might be. I bet it anoyed him a bit that someone stopped and asked about it again even after he went to the effort of shifting it almost out of view. Whilst its not been having a dose of roadsalt over the last vew years, I can't help but think as the years pass it'll become a right effort to get it going properly again, if it ever will. I'd recognise the number if I saw it on the road though!

Everyone and their dog has asked in the garage about the Yellow Syncro - it's a bit on the sheddy side and is a converted panel rather than a "proper" minibus.

It's owned by the guy who runs the garage, and he (IIRC) had a bad bike accident a few years back that makes him less than approachable. I'll be extremely surprised if he ever does anything with it - but then again it belongs to him so I suppose he can do what he wants :)

Strange, because there is the same sort of situation in North Cornwall.

A RHD syncro panel half full with of old engines, exhausts & bumpers.

But guy is not interested in selling. I know of it being there for the past 18 mths & looked like it had been there awhile when first spotted!
