thermo switch wire ?

ok .. i've sorted some of the wiring out in the van .. but i'm stuck on one wire, which is a black wire that goes to to thermo temp switch .( its missing). is it just a wire off the coil ( i think thats wot you said M0cki) or is it an earth ?

All sorted now ... quick phone call to a man in the know ....and we worked it out .. cheers M0cki :D
