dodgy gearbox ???

hi guys, new to the scene and a dummy with mechanics, my westy 5 speed gearbox is driving me nuts, sloppy lever i can live with. changing up o.k but 4 to 3 & 3 to 2 etc c*ap, are we talking big bucks here. any ideas welcome regards Rick.

Worn bushes in the system make a hell of a difference..
could be loose and worn bushes etc.. needs checking out...

If its more box related, then only 1 place to go... (see in my sig)

If you get a Haynes manual it describes gear linkage adjustment--its got to be done correctly-its not a trial & error thing--
