Unknown switch on seat runner

Post by nesty »

Hi All

I have found a old fashioned metal flick switch on the front frame of the passenger seat. It's marked 3A (in up postion), 13A (in down position). I can only assume it's something electrical. Flicked it up and down and can't find what it does.

Does anybody know maybe what it is, or what is does? Just wondered if was normal practice?

It could control anything.. follow the wires.
Do you have a camper interior??? any info on type would help????
possibly a Leisure battery charging switch.

Sorry I got it wrong. The switch say 2A (at Top switch) & 1M (bottom switch)

Had a brief look today looks like the wires go to fuse box.

My alarm has a immobilzer as part of it, it's one of those coded keys you put into the dashboard. However the prevouis owner did tell me the owner before him decided to disarm that feature for some reason?

I'll investigate later in week.

The switch in question. The wires seems to go to the fusebox/relay panel.
