Which alternator do I need on a 1990 1.6TD JX Atlantic with a rev counter? (amps/codes)

Is a diesel one the same as a turbo diesel one?

Can't identify mine, no codes.

Would have been a 65amp one as standard (unless it had a factory option 90 amp one fitted), if you`ve no part number on yours, then it`s a bit of a guess what it is.

If you`ve got one, then try an exchange unit from a local alty firm?
