Rotating seat

Post by Wilma »

Ok, fellas,

I want to fit rotating passenger seat to my Type 25. Present seat is non-standard and 49mm between the seat runners. Largest standard seat base turntable I can find is 35mm. The lower part of my runners is bolted to the existing VW runner on the inside and to the cab floor above the wheel arch on the outside. Can't narrow the top part of the runner on the seat itself as there is an adjusting bar which takes up all the space. Any one any idea where I can get a wide 'turntable' or any suggestions on how to get round this one. Present seat in good condition and comfortable so I don't want to change it. Widest turntable I have found is 35mm.
