I used to use Chris Cross Motors in Green Lanes,Palmers Green.N13
He worked on my Aircooled Westy...Nice honest guy... knows his stuff .

Jacks garage in Notting Hill are excellent. They have a new owner now though but hopefully the same mechanics. They specialise in VW campervans. Google them.

has anyone tried kelvin motors - a vw garage near finsbury park?
i havent yet -
