sluggish 2.1 caravelle

hi have a 1990 caravelle 2.1 which is not running to well . have cheched compressions and getting 140psi on every cylinder (its an automatic) engine sounds ok .cannot get it to do more than 55/60 mph. its firing on all cylinders ok. timing has been ckecked and seems ok is there anything else that would stop it from going faster.any info would be ace

Brakes stuck on ?
Torq converter frelled ?
Autobox frelled ?
Coil, lead or plug breaking down under load ?
Breathing issues ?
