It`s on the log book as 1985 vintage and it has a watercooled engine. I may appear stupid at not knowing this before I bought it but I was more interested in the overall condition of the vehicle.

Hello to all by the way.

Wash your mouth out with soapy water, Mr.Spread!

As the Revster correctly says, it's an Auto-Sleeper. It will most likely be a VT20 or a VX50. :D

It`s a 1985 according to the log book, and from deciphering the vin plate thanks to Brickyards site.

Should have two batteries, main one is under the drivers seat.
It's nothing a great deal of time and money can't fix

It only starts from cold off the battery :? The starter turns the motor very slowly, hot or cold, but it bumps off at the first go when hot :?

From Brickyards info, I was going to check out the starter motor bush, any better ideas?

Runs and drives lovely apart from that :D

I`m as happy as a pig, in sh!te, with mucky clothes on!
