fitting an eber

any thoughts on where I dont want it getting filled with mud or water. I was thinking of going diesel just from the safety factor. Where do put yours? Has anyone got one for sale? they seem to be going around the £250 mark does that sound about right? I'm after one with a timer.

Come on Bob! it all depends wot type you are fitting! And wot your fitting it to!

Ther is more than eber to choose from like webatso and trumatic but the smaller means more cash!

Have you got you eye on one?

Theres one I missed out on the bay, I have my eye on a D1 which is under £200 but lower output I think, which one is the one to go for or are they all good?

My Doka has a factory fitted webasto bbw 46 fits neatly to the left of the engine, sounds great when it fires up like a little jet turbine but not so loud!

runs of petrol and heats the water in the cooling system so keeps the engine warm as well as heating the interior.

They come up regularly on ebay.de

A lot of us use the D1LC - and yes, unfortunately, £250 sounds about right.

I doubt you will get a timer with that - they are usually another £50 or so. TBH, i disconnected my timer because i prefer the rotary dial.

The most important thing is getting it to work reliably in the first place - when i first did my install it worked fine - but then i started to add exhuasts and bits and it then wasnt very reliable..

Mine is fitted under the rock and roll bed - however, i have a fairly tight bend in the hot air ducting pipe - and this means i cant run the eber on full heat as it just over heates and shuts itself down...
