hi mad idea maybe,
i have a 1.9 petrol syncro tin top van
i have a chance of a cheap 1.9aaz bluestar pop top with heater and part camper interior.
i really like the pop top 1.9 diesel power steering,central locking of the bluestar,
but also want to have 4 wd.
do i
a is it poss just to un bolt 4wd system fuel tank well all under body stuffand swap to bluestar.
or b wreck bluestar for roof and bits and put them on mine.
anyone ever done the swapping 4x4 system to a 2wd

You would really need to seriously think it through from start to finish!
Ive looked at this conversion many times and the cost would be the top end of four figures!!
The front aint that big a problem but to replace the chassis cross member at the gear box mount is a major piece of structural work!!!
I would best suggest start with a good Syncro and build it up to your needs all that other stuff can be fitted rather quite easily
