AUTOBOX LEAK
I have a leak from the autobox sump dripping atf fluid,i have a new gasket,i,m hoping it's a case of just changing that, any advice would be appreciated. i understand that the nut on the oil sump shouldn't be overtightened(finger tight plus a half turn with the spanner) does this apply to the autobox sump as well.thanks.

Auto box leak
Drain fluid as you would remove cover, inspect gasket, clean off and then fit new gasket once the drips have subsided.
Just don't over tighten the sump pan as this will crush the gasket and you will end up back where you started.

autobox
when i changed the fliud on mine the nut connecting the top up tube to the sump was siezed so it just undid the 10mm bolt at the top of the top up tube and took it off in one piece to avoid damaging it
Now running and fixing

Same for me as Arvi - do you mean a rubber gasket? You can get the seals from VW or GSF.
It is worth cleaning every part with an evaporating cleaner as well so you know if the leak is sorted afterwards and you can inspect the parts for damage.
