Trailers on Transporter hubs

Post by poshbuggers »

Could anyone clue me in on how you would get a Transporter pattern hub on a straight trailer axle?

I fancy building a custom trailer using leaf springs and an axle, but incorporating 5x112 hubs so I can use the same wheel/tyre combo as on the truck.

had a hunt around and found that some caravans are fitted with same pattern wheels as ours so there might be a lead there ??? or if you could why not use complete suspension set up from a van and make your own mounts???
