Hi all, I have to get my van in the garage for winter while I fix her up but since putting a pop top on she wont fit through the doors, I need to loose about 4 inches, just wondering if i can temporarily lower the van, push her into the garage then put her back up, ie remove the springs or something??

I once did that in reverse, I took the engine out of a Landrover and went to push it out of the garage and the roof hit the door
Had to take the roof of it in the end to get it out
It's nothing a great deal of time and money can't fix

Seriously now, how about remove the wheels and put the camper on 4 trolley jacks then with 3 strong mates drag and push her in.
I once remember deflating a vans tyres to get it into our workshop for signwriting, we had to round up a few people to weigh it down some more but it worked in the end.
