Corrado mirror adaptors MkII

Post by SteveW »

Right Boys and Girls my engineer friend has come up with an affordable solution to the Corrado mirror fitment problem. I have given him the go ahead to make the prototypes so fingers crossed in a few weeks we should have a usable fixing.

What I need to know now is the likely number that we need to produce on the first run? So post up here if you are interested, first batch will be at cost. So get in early. Costing and pictures to follow as and when I get them.

Cheers Steve

Just had an apologetic phone call saying the adapters will defiantly be here tomorrow. So fingers crossed. I now see all the S---e PEET had to go through trying to source these.

Yes I got them earlier today. No pictures yet as they are not quite right. But what I will say is that the adapters move the Raddo mirror out and up so they are in a simular position to the botton of the standard mirrors. I think they will work well after a bit of tweeking. I will also have to discuss pricing with the chap as these have cost me a fortune so far but hey they are a prototype and taken him a long time to get nearly correct
I will be going to the workshop on Saturday to do the changes. So fingers crossed we are getting some where.
