I am OK swapping my Leisure and Main battery for a while ?

I left my lights on and have a flat battery

I have a 71amp hr leisure and a 63 amp hr main

To get you started then it's ok
once it's running swap them back

or jump

Yes I think it will start OK
I was wondering about charging the Main battery on the leisure cct

I was a bit supprised to see a difference in amp hrs

the alternator will supply the weakest with the most current.

I run two starter batteries on my circuit
for one of the reasons you have said.

The leisure batteries we buy are not really true leisure batteries as that would be a "traction" battery for fork trucks.. usually fitted in banks of 6v cells.

but the more amp hours you have the longer it lasts..

I accidently left my lights on a few weeks ago and ran starting battery flat. Just got a single jump lead and connected the two positives together, left for 2 mins and started straight away.
