Has anyone heard of grants avaliable for converting to veg oil possibly anything from 25% to 50 % of the cost??. If so give us a shout or pm me

Yes, there are 50% grants available in some areas. Having attended a very good 2 day course run at the Centre for Alternative Energy (CAT) in Wales, I asked exactly the same question, and it seems if someone has lobbied the right people in your area, then they are keen to prove the technology.
Pembrokshire have a 50% grant scheme as do Brighton I believe, but not heard of anywhere else. Contact biomotors in Brighton or http://www.vegoilmotoring.com/eng/for info on grants.
