I've got fittings in my Westy to take a bunk like this, but no bunk. Could you let me know who you got it from and I will contact them to see if their product it compatible with the mounts I have already.

i had no fitting instructions i fitted it to the front door frame and just under the top seat belt mounts
will take some more piccys later of where fitted them

click on that blue-bird link above....scroll down and you will see some pictures of them in use.....one has 2 adult sized girls on the bed! So unless your seven year old is the weight of a small elephant, and the lenth of a small giraffe, then I reckon you'd be ok....

if you look on the bluebird site http://www.bluebird-type2.co.uk/interior.htm you can see there's a couple of lady's in one on there so should be able to hold a fair bit of weight.
