ummm

decie first on what you want done.....is there rust around the windows >>enough to warrent having windows out?

so you want it stripped back, treated, and resprayed....or a tickle over for a key, and a new top coat?

Consider also that as people say, once you have rust, a treatment and respray will not cure it,,,,just hold it back......

Then get some quotes.....antthing around the 1-2000K mark then work out what FOR YOU represents value for your money. I had Ermie done for less than the grand BUT>>>>> windows did not come out! Could not afford it. But bearing in mind that she already had the cancer that is rust, I was happy to accept that in two years she will need to revist the paint shop....when the windows can come out....as then the rest will only need the tickle over.

where are you based?

Emma, if I told you where Squire is based, for reasons of security I would have to kill you.

Some sound advice there, Emma. If I was having my van resprayed I would take it to the place where Rich Newton, Kevtherev & Shepster had their vans done at a reasonable price. It would mean a 90 mile journey to drop of the van & return home by train. Reverse journey to collect the van once it's done.

The commercial vehicle refinishers who respray T25s from £800 is:-

Im a stone throw from bowton lad and the rust is at the front near the main windscreen on the corner of the passenger side and there are sprinkling directly under the roof drain on either side, then theres a line of it across the seem on the passenger side above the back wheel.

Some one has offered to pay for it as long as it doesn't come over a grand, any more than this and i will have to put the difference to, the only traders work i have seen at the mo is those from Manchetser Air Cooled and it looks bob on. But some one said a while back that you have to request a certain type of paint as the legislation on resparys is changing...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
