Without taking the dash apart to trace it back does anyone know which wire from the fuse box is the radio feed? (colour)

I think its grey and blue .

I would put a new wire in ,straight to the leisure battery via a in-line fuse of course :D

Already done the wire from leisure battery to behind the fusebox with an inline fuse at the back of the main fusebox, thats where i was thinking of cutting the origional wire and joining it.

now thinking myself i would be better going direct and putting the inline fuse beside the battery so as not to add more clutter in the glovebox.

must find somewhere to borrow more wire from.
