Sliding Door Bottom Repair Photos.

Post by hi_tower »

Has anyone done a step by step photo guide type thing for replacing the sliding door bottom? Ive done a search and cant find anything. Is this usually done by butt welding the repair panel to the door or is it better to joggle a step in one of the panels to keep it straight? Any info would be appreciated as Im going to attempt this soon and wanted it to look as neat as possible.

Ive got a pretty good idea of how its done. I was wondering how to keep it all nice and straight more than anything. Ive seen quite a few that have obviously been repaired cos they look all distorted and wobbly.
