Our fridge wouldn't light on gas so thought it must be the piezo spark maker/cable/ignitor. After a lot of cursing and checking all things individually (they all worked ok) what it was was the position of the ignitor to the thermocouple tip. It was too far away and the spark couldn't jump the gap. This was even with the ignitor in its 'correct' keyed position. So I unclamped it and moved it nearer the thermocouple and hey presto - it sparks every time and lights the gas to boot.
Thought I'd post this as I see there's always a few fridge gas questions on here.
Cheers
