westfalia tap/micro switch problem

Post by lambrettalee »

i have a tap on our westy that decides to turn its self on every now and again ,when im driving along i can hear it buzzing away behind me, i have disconected the live at the pump for the minute to stop it doing this, im guessing its a micro switch on the tap its self as if you turn the tap on and off it stops, are these a pig to change as it looks a bit tight in there???and are caravan taps etc the same....

There is a microswitch, it`s on the bottom of the tap unit in the cupboard. It may be a standard type so a caravan place would have `em. Otherwise you can get a complete new tap with switch etc from Gunzl, not expensive either. There are two types, so look for the right one.
Keep it real.
