Posh truck gets dirty

Post by poshbuggers »

Took the truck to the 'desert' for the first time today. It's a local quarry site which covers acres of land. Plenty of water, mud and hard approach angles to go at.

I had a local on board to show me where to go and advise me how not to screw up.

Thought I would post a few pics of the truck really getting dirty - just so you guys can see its no show queen!!

First step was to wash it:

Then remove it:

Then get up high to bake the dirt on and take some arty photos:

The Syncro performed really well on steep hills, sand, shale, mud and water. It didn't get bogged down at all and nothing broke.

I hope to tackle the desert a bit more when I fit better tyres and a bit more underbody protection.

Today was a good, fun introduction though ;-)

lovely looking syncro - good job!
You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape; If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
