What hydraulics? The brakes or the power steering? Be more specific. Seeing as youre talking about the calipers on the front wheels too Im going to guess brakes. My opinion is that you cant be too careful. Id take no chances and get any suspect parts canged. It doesnt cost the earth and is certainly worth doing by the sounds of things.

Sorry mate, I edited my post. In fact Im not even sure that power steering was an option on pre 85 vans. But yeah like I said, parts are cheap. Check GSF. Theyre good for cheap but good quality brake parts.
