I've seen the wiki page on this! Do you realy have to drop the whole thing out the bottom or will just leaver come out the top after un bolting the coupling as I have good replacement to drop in?

Just had to do it.
It comes out from the bottom. Not a big job.
From memory all that is required is a 10 m socket ,14 m spanner. And what ever you need to remove any thing around the gear leaver. Oh and remove the spare wheel :lol:
