Hello, I've got an 84 water cooled BUS,
the heater controls don't appear to do anything, I've got 2 questions:
1. what are the levers supposed to,do I've got a 4 in total, I'm assuming the top pair are for the cab and the bottom pair are for the rear passengers, is this right?.
2. How much fun am I going to have making it so my feet don't bake in this glorious summer we are all enjoying? (any top tips)
Thanks in anticipation
Chad

Hi sir Chad,
1. No - I think the top leaver sends the air to the windscreen - the other leavers control hot to cold, I believe the amount of air coming through, and something else!!! Can scan in the relevant pages of the owners book!
I just fiddle with them all!!!
2.LOTS!!!! our 1984 water camper is permanently boiling!!! Even with the two air vents on the side on fresh air (which I think is wrong, as the Velle pumps warm air through them when required - the camper is always outside air) Hubby did manage to get the direction one to work, so I can change it from baking my feet to baking the windscreen. De-ices quick in winter....) Think you may have to take the dash out to get to all the controls and see where they have come apart, but not 100% sure
I have put up with it for 2.5 years now....

Hi, there's information about the heater controls at the bottom of this page (includes the fourth lever!):
https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Mi ... _questions
The top slider and the third one adjust the amount of heat going up to the windscreen and down to the floor. Second slider adjusts the temperature.
