My Auto-Sleeper will have to go

Post by T3teedub »

Wife is disabled now so our camping needs have drastically changed. We will need a van with a shower etc and side loading beds (no way I can push her in and out three or four times a night) so the simple life will be a thing of the past.
I need to do some little jobs on the van (paint work tidying) and send it to market. Such a shame as she is going so well and has no mechanical issues at all. What a bummer. I love this van :(

Make sure it goes to the right sort old chap....we don't want any riff raff ex villa owners getting their hands on it :D :D

seriously that's bad news pal. I'm sure whatever you have next will help you do the most important thing and that's camping

I am thinking along the lines of a Peugeot or Fiat high-top conversion by AutoSleeper. Lots of things to consider. Early days yet.
But, somebody will get a very reliable and solid T3 from me.

Sorry to hear about your predicament. I'm on the look out for an autosleeper. Is it a trident or trooper (not that I have a preference). Is it for sale on here? Regards.

Sorry for delay in replying.
Van is a Trooper but not advertised for sale yet as I am too busy to prepare it. Shame really as it should be out there on a camping trip somewhere.
I am in the process of refitting the fridge but found the igniter switch was damaged during storage. New one on order.

Send a pm to mirandamayhem when you're done, they seem to be on the look out for a good bus and are in Gloucester, you never know.

Could help you both out.

More seemingly inept VW un/related questions/statements will follow in due course.

Cheers. I have several interested parties already so I doubt I will have a problem selling it.
