Hi - hope someone might be able to help... I've finally found a fridge (two-way electrolux 122 - i guess rm122f) with days to spare before we take off in the van for 3 weeks, and am hoping to install it this weekend.
The only thing is that the top of the pipe which i guess must be the 'lazy t' (flue at back of fridge which connects to flue assembly to vent exhaust gases) is pretty loose and wiggly.
Is it supposed to be like this (hence the 'laziness') or should it be tight? (the main pipe itself is nice and solid - it's just the top part which wiggles).
Or does the 'lazy T' just refer to the shape, meaning that my pipe is in fact knackered and liable to spew CO all over the place?
I thought the prospect of having to cut a dirty great hole in the side of the van was bad enough...
thanks, badams

I have had two. One was held on with a selftapper and wobbled about the other by 2 rivets which is nice and solid. Neither leak harmfull gas. A gas alarm is cheap enough these days, worth it for the pease of mind. At least you will be certain that the headache you have in the morning will be from the beer and not harmfull gas

Never enough time
Re: wiggly 'lazy T' fridge flue...
thanks! nice to know I'm not the only one with a wiggle
the brown stain day approaches fast - I'm not going to be drinking any coffee that morning.
Was thinking of getting a CO alarm as well as am a bit paranoid about the gas, so will go and buy one, and then crack open the beers!
ta for replies...

We've got a gas alarm, a CO alarm and a smoke alarm (three separate units)! Can't get moved in the van for bliddy alarms! Peace of mind . . . priceless (as they say on the telly!)

We got it from Lidl (one of those discount supermarket places), it was about £9 I think.
